I'm experiencing freezing and stuttering in the player. What should I do?

GAİN streams video at the highest possible quality and automatically scales to your device based on different connection speeds and network stability. The majority of stuttering and freezing issues are caused by device or network connection problems, not by the stream itself.

If you are having issues on an Android/iOS phone:

  • To make sure you are benefiting from the latest fixes shipped via updates, please ensure your app is up to date and your operating system is iOS 12.0 or later, or Android 6.0 or later.
  • Make sure your app is updated. If the issue persists after updating, try uninstalling and reinstalling.
  • Go to your device's settings menu, clear the cache/data for the GAİN app, and restart the app.
  • Keep watching the content for at least 1 minute. Videos may start at lower resolution.
  • Check your connection speed via sites like speedtest.net or fast.com.
  • Try restarting your phone and modem.
